During my entire life I have studied, rehearsed and enjoyed my craft...Music!

I also love helping others...

1. Breathing Exercises
By strengthening your diaphragm you’ll have the air that you need to sing and not get winded!

Breathe in through your nose, fill –up your lungs.

Slowly breathe out through your mouth.

Do this exercise daily for about 10 minutes…

2. Watch What You Eat
Do not eat a full meal before performing.

Do not drink any beverage with lemon or dairy in it.

Warm beverages (especially mint tea) helps you with your vocal warm-ups.

3. Ear Training
If you want to improve your ability to stay on tune when you sing…this is the perfect exercise.

You will need a piano or a keyboard. If you don’t have a piano, you can download a keyboard from an app.

(Just Google free keyboard app to download.)

Start with the Middle C Note on the keyboard. Press the note then sing “La”. Sing the notes all the way up and down the scale.

This exercise strengthens your pitch control.

4. Learn A Favorite Song
Choose one of your favorite songs…and sing along with it. Try to learn the lyrics. ...

Download the Karaoke Version of your favorite song and sing along.

5. Record Your Performance
Record yourself singing.

(You can use your cell phone and record yourself.)

Play back your results…

6. Perform Live
Before you sing in public, sing your song in front of the TV.

Find a TV station that preferably has an audience. Turn the volume down (but still be able to hear it).

Then sing your song ...Concentrate on your song and not the background noises.
