Ten Tips To Increase Stamina & Good Health

When You Feel Good You Look Good & You're Able To Play

It all begins with you...

My husband often reminds me that I am the person who's responsible for taking care of myself!
You've heard the saying that you must 1st love yourself before you can love anyone else.

Below are 10 tips on building up stamina and staying healthier so that you are ready to play the Red Hat Way!
You Are The QUEEN Of YOU!
1. Get Plenty Of Rest
Experts say that it's important to get at least 8 hours of sleep per night.

If you find it difficult to get to sleep try meditation.

2. Your Daily Routine
Your daily routine matters. Write down what you do each day and make improvements when needed.

Take the time to plan your day...

3. Get Moving
If you want more stamina and strength remember to keep moving.

Exercise each day at least 20 minutes.

4. Walk & Talk
We Red Hat Sisters love to talk on our phones...

Try this...Walk while you talk... Keep your body in some kind of motion.

This will help you to burn calories and keep the body flexible...

5. Join A Gym
When you join a gym you can get a trainer to help you with the fitness goals that you realistically want to achieve.

Some programs for people over 65 are included in some insurance policies.

6. You Are What You Eat
Be conscious of everything that you put into your body.

Become aware of how certain foods reacts to your very unique and one of a kind body.

Drink plenty of water (considering that 70% of our bodies are made of water.
7. Keep A Positive Attitude
Keeping a positive attitude starts with what you hear and in turn what you say.

If all you hear, see and experience are negative...then you will become a very negative person.

You get back what you give...Stay positive and surround yourself with positive people.

8. Spend Quality Time
Remember you can't get that time back again...so when it comes to "Spending Time" spend it wisely with family and good friends...

Don't get caught saying"I wish I would have done that!"

9. Be Blessed
There's a song that I use to sing when I was a kid called "Count Your Blessings".

When I think back about all the wonderful things that I have experienced in my lifetime...

I immediately become grateful for the many blessings that I have received.

I also acknowledge that I am open for  more Blessings!!!!

Be open...Be Blessed!

10. Be A Blessing
One of the reason that I am so happy to be a Member of The Red Hat Society is that I have the opportunity to reach-out to other women...some younger...some my age...some older...and let them know that together we can make a difference in this world that we live in.

By being a shining light of people caring about each other...I believe that this attitude continues to spread all over the world.

I have the opportunity to work with all the wonderful women (and guys) at Hatquarters including our founder Sue Ellen Cooper and our CEO Debra Granich. The platform that they have prepared for other women to have fun, friendship, fulfillment, freedom and fitness is an outstanding achievement! I thank them all from the bottom of my heart! Millions of women's lives have been touched and blessed!

I believe that in order to be blessed...you must first be a blessing to others...If this were not so...then you would not fully appreciate your blessings...

Whatever your beliefs...whomever you cherish and serve... Be blessed by being a blessing to others!
